Joyvio Blueberries Land Fresh Financing To Power Growth

In early August, Joyvio Berry Co. Ltd. (佳沃贝瑞果业有限公司) announced its completion of a multi-million-Chinese-yuan financing round, led exclusively by the Jiangsu Agricultural High-Tech Fund (江苏农高基金) under Bailian Confitop Capital (百联挚高资本). The obtained funds will be used to expand high-standard planting bases, advance the research and development of blueberry varieties, promote the Joyvio brand, and build digital sales channels, with the overall goal of further consolidating the company’s leadership across the berry industry chain.

Founded in 2012, Joyvio Group is the parent company of Joyvio Berry Co. Ltd. The group has developed more than 2,000 hectares of blueberry plantations in Yunnan, centered in Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture and extending to the city of Baoshan, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, and other regions. Through its collaboration with global blueberry leader Hortifrut, it has introduced over 40 internationally patented varieties and independently developed more than 10 proprietary varieties, establishing a comprehensive breeding system.

The investment from the Jiangsu Agricultural High-Tech Fund is expected to foster deeper cooperation between Joyvio and the Jiangsu Nanjing National Agricultural High-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone (江苏南京国家农业高新技术产业示范区), advancing China’s seed industry revitalization and agricultural technology self-reliance strategies. Building on the extensive blueberry cultivation in Nanjing’s Lishui District, which covers more than 600 hectares, the two parties will work together on variety research and development as well as brand building to create industrial synergy.
