Chilean Fruit Exports to China Grow by 11% in 2018/19 SeasonLed by China, the Asian market has registered the strongest growth in terms of export volume for Chilean fresh fruit for the 2018/19 season. According to data from the Chilean Fruit Exporter Association (ASOEX), Chile exported around 351,182 tons of fruit to China, accounting for 22.8% of Chile’s total fruit shipments in the 2018/19 season. Spring has Arrived in China, and with it Stone Fruit from ChileMarch marks “Chilean Stone Fruits Month,” a promotional campaign for Chilean stone fruits in China, organized on behalf of the Chilean Stone Fruit Committee of the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX), with the support of ProChile Shanghai.
