Chilean Fruit Exports to China Grow by 11% in 2018/19 SeasonLed by China, the Asian market has registered the strongest growth in terms of export volume for Chilean fresh fruit for the 2018/19 season. A Hit With Consumers, Chilean Sugar Plums Drive Chile’s Stone Fruit Growth in ChinaDemand for high brix fruit surely is a large part of the runaway success of Chilean sugar plums in the China market in recent years, where export volumes rose more than 70-fold in four years from 165 tons in the 2014/15 season to 10,584 tons in the 2017/18 season.
