Suning Announces RMB 4.8b Deal for 80% Stake in Carrefour China

A Hit With Consumers, Chilean Sugar Plums Drive Chile’s Stone Fruit Growth in China

Demand for high brix fruit surely is a large part of the runaway success of Chilean sugar plums in the China market in recent years, where export volumes rose more than 70-fold in four years from 165 tons in the 2014/15 season to 10,584 tons in the 2017/18 season. This season is also seeing an in-store promotional campaign by the Chilean Stone Fruit Committee of ASOEX dedicated specifically to sugar plums.

First Shipment to China of 2019 Season Zespri NZ Kiwifruit is en Route
