According to a news report by Thai media outlet Mitihoon, NTF Intergroup (Thailand) Public Company Limited announced on June 17 a cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Pagoda Industrial (Group) Corporation Limited. Under the partnership, the two companies will work together closely on the production and procurement of premium southern Thai durians for export, aiming to meet growing peak-season demand on the Chinese market.
Wang Yao, executive deputy general manager of Pagoda’s International Procurement Division, visited Thailand and met with Wichai Siramanakul, chief executive officer of NTF Group. During the meeting, the two sides finalized the agreement, including key terms related to product standards and procurement volumes.
Established in 2020, NTF entered the Chinese market with exports of fresh longans and began exporting fresh durians in 2021. The company benefits from a fully integrated management system and a strong network of partners, enabling it to manage the entire supply chain efficiently, from production and sourcing to distribution and export.
In 2024, NTF ranked among the top five suppliers by market share at both the Jiaxing Haiguangxing Wholesale Fruit Market in Zhejiang province and the Guangzhou Jiangnonghui Fruit Wholesale Market in Guangdong province. The company has also expanded its export portfolio to include coconuts, wax apples and other fruit categories. In 2025, NTF further strengthened its presence in China by introducing its brand to wholesale produce markets in Henan province.
According to the company, NTF sources its durians from the provinces of Chanthaburi, Sisaket and Chumphon and currently markets them under six proprietary brands. Its longan exports consist exclusively of the Edor variety grown in Chanthaburi and Lamphun provinces, while its coconuts are premium Nam Hom (aromatic) coconuts sourced from Ratchaburi province.
Pagoda is one of China’s largest fresh fruit retail chains and a leading player in the country’s fruit sector. The company has built an extensive nationwide retail network and is known for its focus on premium fruit offerings, direct sourcing and supply chain integration. In 2025, Pagoda reported a revenue of 8.17 billion Chinese yuan ($1.21 billion) and 4,460 franchised stores across China.
