Mr. Avocado Opens Two New Ripening Centers in Beijing and Chengdu
Mr. Avocado, China’s most famous brand of ripened, ready-to-eat avocados, has finished its construction of two new ripening and distribution centers in Beijing and Chengdu. The centers are now fully operational and have begun serving their respective regions of North China and Southwest China.
Mr. Avocado was established over six years ago in 2017 to introduce the concept of ready-to-eat avocados to Chinese consumers. The company’s vision is to become an innovative brand at the forefront of China’s avocado industry, centered around consumers by providing high-quality avocado products and striving to build a brand that customers can trust. After years of development and cultivation, Mr. Avocado’s ready-to-eat avocados have captured 65% of the high-end retail market share in China, spanning over 40 large and medium-sized cities nationwide.
Mr. Avocado possesses a significant advantage in terms of global sourcing, offering year-round availability of branded, ready-to-eat avocados. Furthermore, collaborations with domestic growers enable the company to explore the potential of Chinese avocados on international markets. Mr. Avocado boasts the world’s most advanced ripening equipment and over 30 years of avocado ripening experience.
Mr. Avocado’s East China ripening and distribution center, located in Kunshan, serves regions such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui and Jiangxi. Meanwhile, the South China ripening and distribution center in Dongguan caters to Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi, Hunan and Hubei provinces. The newly established Southwest China ripening and distribution center in Chengdu will serve Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou, Tibet and other regions, while the North China facility in Beijing will be responsible for Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Henan, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and elsewhere. Together, these four state-of-the-art ripening and distribution centers will ensure nationwide delivery of high-quality ready-to-eat avocados throughout China.
As the concept and consumption of ready-to-eat avocados become increasingly popular in first-tier cities, Mr. Avocado is committed to introducing recipes that better suit the tastes of Chinese consumers. The company has also collaborated with restaurants and the catering and tea/beverage industries to advertise and promote ready-to-eat avocados, supporting its expansion in first- and second-tier cities. In the future, Mr. Avocado plans to conduct more on-site tasting events, combining online and offline activities to tempt more new consumers to taste and savor top-quality ready-to-eat avocados.
In the coming year, Mr. Avocado plans to construct additional state-of-the-art ripening centers in other cities to better serve the growth of ready-to-eat avocados in China.
