Chilean Cherry Digital Promotions Accelerating: Feb. 2 Update

On Feb. 2, the Chilean Cherry Committee of the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX) continued its efforts to promote cherry consumption and support cherry traders.

A wide range of online and offline promotions and other communications efforts are ongoing across China. Highlights for today are as follows:

Digital and O2O Promotions Accelerating

More Cherries from Chile activities have been launched in recent days on digital channels to stimulate the consumption of cherries both online and offline during the lead-up to Spring Festival and during the holiday itself. Recently, Pagoda, Miss Fresh and JD Fresh have been promoting the Cherries from Chile Chinese New Year 1.8 Million Yuan Super Lucky Draw on their own social media channels. Chilean cherry promotions have also launched in recent days on Ele.me and TikTok and at JD.com automated delivery stations.

In-Store Promotions

In-store promotions continue to run in partnership with over 20 leading fruit retailers around China, with more than 14,000 in-store sessions planned to be completed by the New Year. Sales of cherries at major offline retail channels have also rebounded sharply over the past week.
