Sweet C × Jiajiayue Partnership Launched With Mandarin Carnival in Weihai

September 01, 2026

On Aug. 29, the Sweet C × Jiajiayue partnership launch ceremony and “Mandarin Carnival” was officially held in Weihai. The event brought together Li Mei, deputy general manager of Jiajiayue Group Co. Ltd.; Wang Beibei, senior manager of the Fruit Procurement Department at Jiajiayue Group; Zhang Lingyan, regional general manager of Jiajiayue Group’s Weihai North Supermarket; JJ van der Spuy, Far East regional general manager of Core Fruit; Frank Hong, general agent of Core Fruit China; Helen Li from Core Fruit; and partner Shanghai Sheng Guo Trading Co. Ltd. Through the launch ceremony, mandarin tastings, themed displays and parent/child interactive activities, the event offered Weihai residents a unique mandarin-themed experience that combined a sense of occasion with hands-on consumer engagement.

Sweet C ClemenGold mandarins are reported to have a perfectly balanced sugar-to-acid ratio, grown naturally under South Africa’s abundant sunshine, delivering a taste far superior to similar products: refreshingly sweet, juicy and with a subtle hint of honey. Experienced South African growers rigorously select each fruit to ensure that every mandarin reaching consumers delivers a perfect “sweet experience.”

The event was built around the vision of bringing quality fresh fruit into more homes. The ceremony featured a branded stage, a partnership showcase area and an interactive experience zone. Activities such as a welcoming lion dance, emcee presentations and a joint launch by representatives from both sides demonstrated the active collaboration between the brand and the local retail channel to serve consumers and expand premium fruit consumption scenarios.

The launch ceremony incorporated a low-mist dry ice visual effect. As the countdown ended, representatives from both parties jointly activated the launch, with a large screen simultaneously displaying the partnership’s themed visuals, followed by a celebratory lion dance performance, creating a solemn and festive atmosphere for the partnership’s debut.

Beyond the ceremony, the event also featured mandarin tasting sessions, themed product displays, photo opportunities and parent/child interactive games such as fruit tossing. Attendees were able to learn about the unique features of the mandarins in a relaxed and pleasant environment while experiencing the diverse pleasures of fresh fruit consumption. Clown performances and hosting activities also contributed to a more engaging and festive atmosphere within the shopping mall.

Jiajiayue, as a retail enterprise deeply rooted in the local market, will continue to leverage its store network and consumer scenario advantages. Sweet C, on the other hand, will use this partnership as an opportunity to further enrich its communication with consumers. Both parties reportedly look forward to providing Weihai consumers with fresh, delicious and convenient choices through quality products, immersive experiences and more accessible services.

According to the event organizers, time-based interactive sessions and tasting services were provided on the opening day, tailored to the flow of visitors.
