Blueberries (⇧)

The share of imported blueberries has lifted in the Chinese market over the last two weeks. Presently, we have recorded openings of 25% from Chile, while Peru has maintained its market share over the past three weeks. A plethora of Sekoya types have been opened in well-known brands such as Crunch, Pop and Grande. However, the dominant varieties remain Magica, Ventura and Duke. Wholesale prices lifted strongly this week, with many goods trading above the ¥110–120 (1.5 kg) range. At the retail level, we can also see this price shift, with average prices across eight major retailers lifting to an average of ¥19.50 per punnet (125 g) compared with ¥15.75 during week 3. Currently, retail values are in line with 2025 levels. Further details and brand specifics are available to members. View market data.

Cherries (⇩)

Over the course of weeks 2–4, Lapins remained the most abundant variety on offer according to opening data, while Regina and Kordia have increased in a notable way. This week saw market pricing decrease rather notably, with Lapins in 5-kilogram cartons declining to an average value of ¥140, which is 55% below 2024 and 20% below the same week of 2025 (which in itself was a challenging year). We see similar sales values for 2.5-kilogram cartons of Lapins. For Regina, pricing has also slipped and this variety is trading below that of the previous two seasons. On average, the price by size is as follows: ¥280 for 4JD, ¥230 for 3JD, ¥190 for 2JD and ¥145 for JD. Grapes (★)

There remains only a trickle of imported grapes entering the Chinese market, with most of the focus placed squarely on the cherry trade. Some initial Australian Sweet Globe were received with pricing set at ¥300 (4.5 kg) at the wholesale level. At the retail level, Chinese goods clearly dominate; however, Peruvian Sweet Globe can be found in stores such as Walmart at ¥19.99 (400 g). Further charts and tables are available to members. Plums (★)

A wide range of Chilean plum varieties have been opening in the market, with Candy Pixie accounting for the largest share, although it remains below 40% of recorded openings. Candy Pixie declined visibly in price this week, and the same was true for mini plums. In North China retail, the average consumer price stood at ¥135 (1 kg), with the most popular pack being 250 grams at an average value of ¥33.75. View market data.
