The Global Cherry Summit is Back for 2019

September 11, 2018
Santiago, Chile (11th September, 2018) – The world’s cherry industry will meet once again next year for an enlightening day of forward-thinking at the Global Cherry Summit 2019. The event’s second installment will take place on April 25, 2019, at the Monticello Conference Center outside of the capital Santiago.

Cherries are one of the fastest growing categories in the fruit industry, and so a global meeting of key players from across the global sector is essential to bring new focus, strategies, information sharing and collaboration to the table.

Organizers Yentzen Group and Produce Business Magazine say the one-day event will offer compelling educational sessions and panels featuring speakers from all corners of the world, along with invaluable networking opportunities.

The inaugural edition of the Global Cherry Summit took place earlier this year and was a huge success, bringing together more than 650 industry professionals including growers, marketers, importers and exporters.

“The Global Cherry Summit is an event that the industry needed. The great attendance by representatives of numerous cherry-producing and importing countries demonstrates the huge interest in learning about and understanding what the future holds for this fruit,” said Gustavo Yentzen, Managing Director of Yentzen Group.

“The 2019 edition will have an even greater international reach, with panelists from a broad range of countries who will share their experience and knowledge about this growing industry.”

Speakers and panelists at the 2018 event included executives from the likes of China, the U.S., Australia, Brazil, the U.K. and Chile.

“The Global Cherry Summit has quickly become the world’s premier gathering place for those who make a difference in the global cherry industry,” said Jim Prevor of Produce Business Magazine.

“Thought and practice leaders from six continents assemble to make themselves smarter, make their companies more successful and to build a brighter future for the international cherry supply chain. If cherries matter to your organization, there is no more exciting place to be.”

The previous edition of the Global Cherry Summit sold out well in advance, so register now to make sure you don’t miss out!
