Hema Neighborhood E-Commerce Platform Opens 400 Stores in 80 Days
Supermarket chain Hema Fresh, a subsidiary of Alibaba, has launched a new community e-commerce initiative this year, called Hema Neighborhood and known internally as “the NB (Neighbor Business) project.” Hema began building the Hema Neighborhood team in March of this year, with the first self-service community e-commerce store opening in Shanghai on April 28.
