Apples (⇨)

The first New Zealand Royal Galas have opened this week, averaging at ¥330 (18 kg, various sizes), with goods trading between ¥270 and ¥400 — roughly 8% above the same week of 2025 but about 11% below last season’s levels. Grapes (⇨)

Peru and Chile continue to dominate the market, although Australian, South African and Indian goods do have presence. Peruvian Autumn Crisp held steady at ¥319 (7.3 kg), roughly 20% above the same week of 2025. Sweet Globe is trading at around 55% above last year, while Red Globe is a full 65% firmer. On the Chilean side, Sable, Crimson and Sweet Favors are all active. At the retail level, we see a good selection of imported goods, while Chinese produce remains widely available. Nectarines (⇨)

Chilean nectarines remain mixed. Tifany, one of the most actively traded varieties, softened to ¥126 (9 kg, various sizes), roughly 8% above last year. Giant Pearl also eased, sitting slightly below 2025 levels. Majestic Pearl and Andesneccinco both improved compared to the previous week. Arctic Red, Sweet Giant and Bright Pearl are also present in the market. View market data [6].

Plums (⇩)

Sugar plums and D’Agen both declined sharply this week. Sugar plums dropped to ¥193 (9 kg, various sizes) from ¥263 the previous week, though still a few percent above 2025. D’Agen followed a similar path. Candy Red eased further, now roughly 7% above last year, while Pink Delight remains about 17% firmer than in 2025. View market data [7].
