➢ Vision 4.0 AI

The highlight of this edition is Vision 4.0 AI, the latest evolution of Unitec’s selection platforms: an AI-powered system capable of identifying and separating external defects with unprecedented accuracy. Result: perfectly sorted fruits and vegetables, greater consistency in standards, and faster operations. Featured at the booth is the Cherry Tunnel with Cherry Vision 4.0 AI that, thanks to Cherry Vision 4.0 AI, can scan 100% of each individual cherry with maximum precision through advanced artificial intelligence models.

In addition to standard parameters, it is now possible to select even hard-to-detect cuts and insect damage — previously impossible to identify automatically.

Approximately 13% of harvested cherries cannot reach consumers in good condition; every year, thanks to Cherry Vision patented solutions, we not only prevent the waste of over 20 billion cherries but also protect the market image of this exceptional fruit.

Uni Robotics, brand of Unitec, presents an innovative packing solution, a phase where the use of robotics is becoming increasingly common. Uni Smart Packer reduces the need for labor in repetitive, high-intensity tasks, while ensuring consistent production.

➢ ​Uni Smart Tray Filler Combined With the Automatic Cell Tray Denester

Automatic filler that allows the packing of different varieties of fruit such as apples, peaches, and nectarines, in cell trays or in cell trays inside crates. Fruit picking and placement into cell trays is performed thanks to a multi-head robot with a “pick and place” function that can adjust the coordinates of picking/placement based on the size and format of the package being handled. Incoming fruits are channeled and singularized on a transport system: thanks to the integrated vision system, they are oriented correctly and prepared to be collected. This technology is characterized by high capacity (number of fruits per minute) and optimized use of space.

➢ ​Uni Sample Fruit

This technology inspects the surface layer of the fruits contained in the crate using an optical acquisition system. The parameters analyzed include size, color, and external defects. It is also possible to integrate Brix degree and acidity upon request. The system will issue a sampling report for the crates analyzed in the batch being examined.
